Eau Claire Distillery is situated in the shadow of the Canadian Rocky Mountains and is Alberta’s first craft distillery, located in the historic and picturesque town of Turner Valley, Alberta, Canada. The town is littered with prohibition history and was once thought to be the New York of the north. A certified farm distillery, all of Eau Claire’s spirits are made with Alberta barley using traditional farming methods to produce artisanal award-winning spirits from farm to glass! Eau Claire encourages everyone to experience the distillery first-hand and take a day trip out to Turner Valley. They offer tours seven days a week in the summer and on weekends in the winter.
Eau Claire offers an assortment of locally handcrafted spirits to taste and purchase at their Calgary Farmers' Market booth in aisle two. Their award-winning spirits include their Three Point Vodka, Parlour Gin, Cherry Gin and Prickly Pear EquineOx, Rupert's Whisky, and a uniquely botanical Flourish Gin. Not to mention their seasonal holiday offerings that make great gifts. Eau Claire also has four bottled craft cocktails and their own bespoke tonic water line, Eau Claire Soda Company. Eau Claire Soda Company offers an original and elderflower tonic water that pair perfectly with their premium spirits or taste great on their own.
Eau Claire Distillery is also Alberta’s first Single Malt Whisky distillery and releases a very limited release of single malt whisky annually. The inaugural batch of single malt whisky released in December 2017, sold out in five days.
You can try all of Eau Claire’s award-winning white spirits and some speciality distiller series only available at the Distillery and their Calgary Farmers' Market booth.
