Important Information

  • Beware of fraudulent emails. Only trust emails sent from @calgaryfarmersmarket.ca. Never share sensitive personal or financial information unless you are certain the request is legitimate.
  • Applications close September 30, 2026.
  • All applicants will be contacted regarding the status of their application.
  • Full payment is required upon acceptance to secure your space.
  • Please note that all payments are non-refundable.

Market Dates & Hours

The Calgary Farmers’ Market Christmas Market runs for five weeks.

  • CFM West: Wednesday, November 18 – Wednesday, December 23, 2026
  • CFM South: Thursday, November 19 – Wednesday, December 23, 2026

Vendors are required to remain open during all market operating hours.

CFM West Hours

  • Wednesday–Saturday: 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
  • Sunday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

CFM South Hours

  • Thursday–Sunday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Additional Holiday Shopping Days

Both locations will also be open:

  • Monday, December 21
  • Tuesday, December 22
  • Wednesday, December 23

Both markets close Thursday, December 24 for the remainder of the holiday season.

Vendor Space

Each vendor space includes:

  • One 8′ × 2.5′ table
  • All products must be displayed on the provided table unless prior approval has been granted.
  • Electricity is not provided.
  • Storage space is not available; however products can be stored neatly underneath your table.

Insurance Requirements

All accepted vendors must provide proof of commercial general liability insurance. Insurance must:
  • Include $2,000,000 Commercial General Liability (CGL) coverage.
  • Name Calgary Farmers’ Market NGC Inc. as an additional insured.
Insurance is NOT required at the time of application. If accepted, proof of insurance must be submitted with full payment as soon as possible. Failure to provide insurance by the deadline may affect your participation in the market.

Vendor Fees

Week 1: ( Nov. 18/19 – 22 )  $300 + GST

Week 2: ( Nov. 25/26 – 29 )  $300 + GST

Week 3: ( Dec. 2/3 – 6 )  $400 + GST

Week 4: ( Dec. 9/10 – 13 )  $500 + GST

Week 5: ( Dec 16/17 – includes 21, 22 & 23 )  $500 + GST

(In accordance with the Alberta Farmers' Market Association (AFMA) "Make It, Bake It, Grow It" policy, at least 80% of vendors must sell products that are made, baked, or grown by the seller, an immediate family member, an employee of the business, or a member of a producer-owned cooperative. Products originating outside of Alberta and British Columbia are not considered local. The remaining 20% of vendors may sell products that are made in Canada.)
